Not having been in your back yard/garden or whatever, and seeing this image smaller initially, it looks like some huge chicken running amuk in a village in Eastern Europe. The brown wood box next to the chicken looks at first glance looks like a fence (full size), the box flap looks like the side of a roof. The gray plywood panel (or whatever it is) in the background sort of looks like a roof as seen from the side as well.
i'm not sure if i should get into just how symbolic this photo, and my chickens' behavior in general, is in terms of the election. i might be embarrassed at how much i observe both the chickens and the democratic race.
the backyard/patio area looks a lot different now. this was the day after we got the chickens, i think, and they were making do with an appliance box chicken shack, which can be viewed to the right. even though they have a pretty little green coop now, the backyard still has shantytown aesthetic. now i'm thinking we should make a short film about a chicken terrorizing a village in eastern poland!
