it's march 2

and i'm still cursing the british people's dismal understanding of electronic techonology. WHY can't they simply write a website that MAKES SENSE??

i'm trying to find a recipe for this delicious ginger cake and can't make sense of delia's website. dame delia is the british equivalent of julia childs or betty crocker- except she isn't a no-nonsense women like our strong american-bred cooks! noooo, she's got to make difficult-to-navigate message boards that offer NOTHING by way of actual information.

hmph.

Camp Kate kicks Shleydom in the nuts.

HOLY COW!

I still love Shleydom! Cut the girl some slack....she's busy transitioning from one corporate entity to another, and trying to find obscure ginger cake recipes from the not-so-technically savvy Brits.

what about the sisters OF mercy?

i didn't know there was a blog competition going on here- oh, how we shall both vie for jenny's attention! winner gets..... a badge from the springfield emergency management council! look out, auntie k, it shall be mine!!!!

look forward to new posts detailing managerial crankiness, composting techniques, and the anti-capitalist angst i share with my auntie. i went to the mall the other day to help my mancave install some stuff....... weird. i've been in natural food store/ thrift store shopping world for a while and found the focus on materialism almost shocking. not that i don't like me some material, oh no. jsut, my goodness.

anyway-
i'd like to see jenny write on a blog everyday. go ahead, blogger.

He, he, he. My little plan worked. Lots of activity here on Shleydom. And a new topic to boot- compost! But if you really want to vy for the Emergency Management merit badge, you're all going to have to stock up on batteries and canned soup and matches and send me pictures of your little hurricaneboxes.
